Ruger Brings Back the Ruger 77/44® in .44 Magnum

Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE-RGR) announces the return of the popular bolt-action Ruger 77/44® rifle, the perfect brush and tall timber gun that is short, light weight, and delivers low recoil .44 Rem. Magnum stopping power.

The 77/44RSP is the perfect foul weather gun with its matte stainless steel receiver and 18-1/2 inch barrel on a synthetic stock. The right hand turning bolt with 90-degree throw quickly loads the .44 Magnum cartridges from the four-round, reliable Ruger rotary magazine. Shooters and hunters can use the blade front and adjustable rear sights or opt for optics by using the Ruger patented scope rings (provided at no charge) that install on the integral mounts and never shoot loose.

Those serious about developing their shooting skills in an affordable manner may choose to spend their practice sessions with the Ruger 77/22, a rimfire rifle with comparable shooting and handling characteristics to the 77/44. Both guns feature a three-position safety, crisp trigger pull and quick handling.

The Ruger 77/44 - the perfect combination of performance and .44 Magnum power.
